Before your shoot:
đđŒ Plan it, as much details as you can, check out some polers / pole photographers pages for inspiration, especially the photographer youâre working with đ€©
đ Plan your moves, play to your strengths & make sure you can hold them long enough & write it all down! which moves in which outfit, which ones are you wearing heels, what order are you doing it in, which ones on spin / static.

đȘđŒ Plan to do a simple move or 2 to start with to calm nerves, they can sometimes turn out to be your favourites too đ
hardest moves early on so youâre not exhausted, bendiest ones last so youâre more warmed up and flexible.
đ Have a few easy poses if you need a break in between moves.
đPlan your outfits including heels đ accessories, props
đâŹïžđFind out the background colour that will be used or if they have lighting choices decide what ones you want to go with
đ€žđŒââïž Have a practice shoot in your outfits & heels if you can, know what angle you want certain moves, perfect opportunity for this in Pole Practice
đž Take pics and have them in an album on your phone so you can access them easy
đ€ If youâre not surer would recommend getting booked in for a 1:1
đŽ Get a good sleep the night before & donât stress đ€Ż
On the Day:
đđŒââïžI will be there but feel free to bring a pole buddy to help you đđŒ
â° Arrive at least 30 mins before youâre allocated time, donât be late as youâll just waste time in your slot the photographer has a lot of people to get through and canât extend your time!
Before your shoot starts:
đKnow what youâre wearing, have your outfits laid out before you start your shoot including heels / accessories / props / tape etc if you need it
đ„” Be fully warmed up
đ Be ready & waiting to go
During your shoot:
đ„° Enjoy it, it will go quick, make sure youâre happy with the move before moving on, speak to the photographer if thereâs anything you want changed / not happy with, itâs your shoot
After:
đ Cool down & have a good stretch đ§đŒââïž and celebrate all your hardwork and awesomeness however you want đ„đŸ
